Antje Jungclaus
With over 20 years of experience in the food industry, Antje Jungclaus is a passionate expert in Nutrition Communication at BENEO. She holds a degree in Nutrition and Food Science from the University of Kiel, and a PhD in Food Sciences from the University of Nottingham UK, where living and working with people from around the globe sparked her passion for international collaboration. Since joining BENEO in 2002, Antje has worked in regulatory affairs first and soon moved on to developing nutrition communication for BENEO’ growing portfolio of functional ingredients. As one of the founding members of the BENEO-Institute, Antje has helped shaping the Institute with her nutrition communication expertise in close collaboration with regulatory expertise and nutrition science to highlight the health benefits of BENEO’s ingredients. Her work has taken her across five continents, engaging with customers and health professionals to bring science-based nutrition to life. Today, she crafts nutrition-related ingredient positionings, messages and tools with the team that help translate complex science into clear nutritional value. What drives her? A deep curiosity for the nutritional character of foods and a commitment to making that knowledge meaningful for people’s health.
