Theresa Bagus
Theresa Bagus earned her bachelor’s degree from Justus Liebig University in Giessen, Germany, and completed a master’s degree in nutrition science at the University of Potsdam. She conducted her master’s thesis at the German Institute of Human Nutrition Potsdam-Rehbruecke.
Supported by a Leonardo Da Vinci scholarship, she gained international experience through an internship at the Nutrition & Health Foundation in Dublin, Ireland, and later joined the European Food Information Council (EUFIC) in Brussels, Belgium. In 2013, she began her career at BENEO and, after a temporary project at the Federal Research Institute for Nutrition and Food (Max Rubner-Institute) in Karlsruhe, Germany, she returned to BENEO in 2017.
As Manager Nutrition Communication, Theresa now focuses on promoting the health benefits of chicory root fibre.
