From the life of a BENEO Values Manager
Hello there, I’m Eileen Rajczyk, the Administration Manager at BENEO’s New Jersey office in the US, and today I want to share with you one of my favorite roles at BENEO – being a values manager!
I’ve been a values manager since its rollout in 2014, which means I’ve been living and breathing the BENEO values for many years. And what are the BENEO Values, you ask? They are CARE, INSPIRATION, and IMPROVEMENT. I’m sure every single one of my colleagues embodies these values every day, not just in their work, but in their daily lives.
These values are not just words on a page, but they truly represent who we are at BENEO and what we stand for.
…is about so much more than just providing ingredients for consumer products. It’s about nutrition, health, and the well-being of our customers and employees. It’s also about being a responsible and sustainable business that always considers the interests of our stakeholders and the planet.
…is all about sparking new ideas, concepts, and solutions. We believe in creating an environment where everyone at BENEO can be inspired, so that we can in turn inspire our customers and partners with innovative solutions.
…is at the core of everything we do. We never stop searching for ways to make nutrition better and healthier, both in our products and in our processes. We also recognize and celebrate the personal growth and progress of our employees, constantly striving to expand their skills and expertise.
But did you know that there is a dynamic values team located around the globe? Yes, that’s right! We have 14 passionate colleagues in total spanning across different BENEO locations such as New Jersey in the US, Offstein and Mannheim in Germany, Tienen, Wijgmaal, Oreye in Belgium, as well as Pemuco in Chile, and Singapore. Now that’s what I call a global team!
Each location has its own unique activities to promote engagement among colleagues. From bowling to birthday celebrations, appreciation lunches to town halls, and even family gatherings – there’s always something happening to foster a sense of togetherness!
Recently, we hosted an Employee Appreciation Breakfast in our New Jersey office’s application center, and let me tell you, it was a blast! My manager Jon Peters and I put on our chef hats, whipping up a delicious breakfast for everyone to enjoy. We received some great feedback from our colleagues, such as “it felt like a Sunday morning homemade family breakfast” and “I especially liked how Jon cooked my waffle! I loaded it with whip cream, caramel sauce, and fresh fruit.” It’s moments like these that make us feel valued and appreciated as part of the BENEO family.
Our hope is that every BENEO employee feels valued every single day. We believe that living and promoting our values not only enriches our work environment but also enhances our daily lives.
