Early May, a team composed of staff coming from diverse departments from BENEO’s plant in Oreye participated to the biggest streets cleaning action organized in the whole French speaking part of Belgium, the Grand Nettoyage BeWapp.

The participants first enjoyed a joint lunch. Then they divided into four groups and went into the streets around the plant and picked up the waste they found. Their booty: a dozen garbage bags filled mainly with cans, food wrappers, cigarette butts and other rubbish.

The Grand Nettoyage BeWapp took place from Thursday 5^th until Sunday May 8^th in order to enable companies, but also schools, and private groups to clean their neighbourhoods.
