Welcome on Board – The Encounter
BENEO’s international onboarding programme, Welcome on Board, was held live for the first time in three years. Previously, during the pandemic, the WOB had only virtual sessions. The programme offered three days of insights into the different departments, product lines and factories of BENEO in Germany and Belgium and allowed colleagues from different countries to exchange ideas and try some of the products.

BENEO Group Forum and Sales Network Meeting 2023
This year’s BENEO Group Forum and Sales Network Meeting 2023 took place in Berlin. The event started with presentations on current market situations and challenges and included sessions on Meatless® acquisition, plant-based protein, leadership, and competencies. Day two included discussions on sustainability and efforts with the new CRM tool, followed by visits to market stalls on various topics. The Sales Network Meeting’s motto was “Reunited,” and it focused on re-connecting with sales network partners from around the world. The program covered presentations on new ingredients, start-up stories, and digital collaboration, followed by workshops. The evenings were dedicated to conveying “Berlin feeling” and included a Roaring Twenties event.

Chinese New Year: Fostering Prosperity through Food.
The Chinese New Year is a festival that marks the start of the lunar calendar and more than 2 billion people around the world celebrate it in some way. Food plays an important role during this event. Chinese people love auspicious things and food eaten during the Chinese New Year typically have symbolic meanings to them. Our colleague from Singapore describes some popular dishes eaten during the festival.

A BENEO New Year’s gig and party to remember!
BENEO in Tienen held a New Year’s Afterwork Party with live music by BENEO colleagues, a walking dinner, drinks, and a resident DJ. The party was well-attended, with the crowd singing along throughout the set. The party was organized by BENEO HR and a party committee.

End of campaign in Chile celebrated with award ceremony.
The chicory campaign in Chile ended in August and was celebrated with a great award ceremony for the farmers who had made outstanding achievements during the campaign.

All aboard the BENEO flight.
In April 37 new BENEO colleagues were ready to board. It was the very first Welcome on Board session for new BENEO colleagues that joined the company in the past 12 months! The Welcome on Board (WOB) is an onboarding event with 8 sessions where the passengers learn all about BENEO. Due to the pandemic, it has been an online journey.
